If you are already in this level, I recommend the book "Protected Mode Software Architecture", from Tom Shanley. I have this book and I read it. I understood PM from there. I bought it about 1 year ago from Amazon.com. It is a very good book, but it is only suitable for whom already know well real mode assembly programing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kunal Gangakhedkar" Newsgroups: comp.os.msdos.djgpp To: Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2002 3:50 PM Subject: Need Help on Protected mode programming Hi there, I wanted to know how to switch the Intel CPUs in protected mode from the real mode & vice versa.
