I bought C++ for Dummies and tried to install it; I think I got almost everything right, for I got to write the first Program, but when I tried to compile it, the error: gcc.exe Conversion.cpp No such file or directory (ENOENT) Shows up. According to the book this is because gcc doesn't know that I'm using long file names; and instructs Me to go to c:\djgpp\djgpp.env and change the setting for the LFN = y. Well the setting is already = y and, there are No spaces in the file name. Can anybody please tell me what else can it be ? My operating system is Windows ME. Regards, Fernando E. Ortega IMTS P.O.
