If you can't download from Simtel, maybe try the mirrors (following link)? letmis mirrors I still have gcc2952d.zip and gcc2953b.zip, and about 10 MB free on the partition where DJGPP is installed, after starting with the greatest number of cylinders I could get subject to 4096 bytes allocation unit (a little more or less than 256 MB, where 1 MB = 10 ** 6 bytes). Allegro has the stuff for all OSes, not just DOS, and that wastes space on a DOS partition. Now if I could delete this part and unzip onto a Linux partition, and cross-compile for DOS? I have no DOS support for long file names or FAT32.
