Better not. ME is positively weird in how it handles autoexec.bat. You're supposed to use Microsoft's System Configuration Tool ("msconfig.exe"), and if you try to just edit autoexec.bat yourself, it'll somehow swallow those modifications into msconfig behind your back, and remove them from autoexec.bat.
