Did you get DJGPP from the unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 / XP site? Did you get the latest relased verison of Allegro, 3.9.39 or above? I have 3.9.39 working on XP including sound. The unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 / XP site url is http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main.htm . I should have the updated GCC 3.02 available for download in a few days which can be used with Allegro on a normal build, until then you can either use 2.9.5.2 or 3.02 build with debug. Please read the links section so you can get sound working on XP. Works for me. Please use the email at the URL above as this one is for spammers only. Andrew
