Okay. Can you try commenting out the line in your CONFIG.SYS which installs 4DOS as the permanent shell, and see if that helps? Also, it's worth trying to comment out in CONFIG.SYS the STACKSHIGH line and the XMSDSK line. Finally, when Windows says "General Protection Fault", are there any numbers or registers near that, in addition to the address? anything at all?
