It says "General protection fault" (in Swedish), and gives an address
(which is different every time).

I just ran "make", which should invode something along the lines of
"gxx -o obj.o file.cpp"

Same thing happens. If I try to run "gcc --version", I get a message
"This command must be run in MS-DOS mode, do you wish to setup a
shortcut to run in MS-DOS mode", and when I press No, the DOS prompt
closes.
