	I am hoping someone here has a solution, because I am
running out of ideas. I have a problem with RHIDE 1.49
hanging under Win 95 when I start it. The strange thing is
that it always starts in Safe Mode without a problem. I have
tried disabling any resident programs, tried every screen
size/color combo available too. I tried starting RHIDE with
a -B for VGA BIOS mode, and a -S for 16 bit video access
instead of 32 bit access. If I switch to VGA monitor video
in the Display properties, it seems to start up. The problem
with VGA is that this is a NEC 5080X laptop with a NeoMagic
128XD video chipset. When RHIDE starts it seems to corrupt
the video, and displays only the 2 line intro text in the
DOS Window screen. The DOS Window title, and icon become
corrupt. Starting the laptop in safe mode, or VGA, shrinks
the screen to 6 inches by 4 inches. As you can imagine this
is hard to read. I have the latest NeoMagic video drivers
too. 

System specs:

 Processor; Pentium 233MMX
     Video; NeoMagic 128XD chipset
   Monitor; 1024x768 laptop display panel
    Memory; 80 MB
Hard Drive; 4 GB( 2 2GB partitions)

All FlashROM updates done to latest versions.
