(the cant-save-a-file bug) So, Im not asking for help here, Ive just been through the archives to read the issues, and understand im out of luck... for now anyway. Someone did mention that it could be fixed by getting development source, and then recompiling... has this worked? Anyone got it going? Maybe (I know you folks are busy) the DJGPP people could provide us with a fix. Even if its a temporary one, until the next release fixes it better. The fact is, Win9x is dead now, it will be Win XP next time around. Win2000 is at SP2 and has been around for 12-18months now. Maybe its time to support it? Maybe its time to stop complaining about "bugs" in Microsoft stuff, and just provide a godamn workaround. Complaining about the fact that its Microsofts "fault" because its their bug doesnt fix it. Fact is, I WAS goin to use DJGPP, now I'm not. And its not that I dont want to either. I guess I might keep using it without the IDE... I dont have a situation where I can use a DOS/9x machine. I dont wanna just hack you guys down. Your product is very cool. I (and every other NT5 user out there) would just love it if you would provide a simple fix! Cheers, Matthew http://www.zfree.co.nz
