Have the sources for GPP 2.8.1 been modified in anyway recently? More specifically have some of the file names been changed ever so slightly? I ask since I'm trying to build the GNAT for DOS compiler via DJGPP, which utilises GPP 2.8.1 and DJGPP and have run into errors upon application the diff file DJGPP.diff. The error i get relates to a file "configur.lan" in the gcc-2.8.1 directory, which patch tells me doesn't exist. I confirmed this but did note that there is a file "configure.lang". Either the names have been modified by the GNAT DOS compiler maintainer, modified by the GPP 2.8.1 maintainers or the diff file is erroneus. The GNAT DOS maintainer can apparently build with the GPP 2.8.1 distribution he has, since there is a copy of the binaries available. I'm curious about this, and want to find the cause. I'm not attributing blame or anything, I just want to explore all avenues and this is one to explore. If the names have not been modified then I know to look elsewhere for an answer. Thanks, Chris Campbell
