I never had seen such postes here, but it's common on other news-groups (like news::pl.comp.lang.pascal), please email me if I should't do things like that on this newsgroup. So, I'm writting GUI, and I want it to be better then... Win2k (!) Ofcourse I'm talking only about GUI, not operating-system :) But my program will have some functions typical for OS, for example own file format, etc... From techcial site it will "be overlay for OS" (I think that's english name) like Win 3.11 was. Why I'm posting here ? Because : 1) I am lazy, and after sending this post I must get to work on this project fast, otherwise everybody will laught of me :) 2) I'm looking for beta-testers 3) Maybe someday I will actualy write somethig better then Win\Linux GUI, and maybe someon will but it from me :) This project is called UPT, it's written in DJGPP C++ & Aleegro, I will later port it to Windows\Linux compilers. If You want to be beta-tester, You have experience in writting OS or You just want to see how my work is going, please email to me, with "[upt]" in title. I want to finish first full version (GUI like from Win95) in about 6 months... :-))) P.S. What to You think, what I my chances to suess ? 5%, 3% or maybe even less ? -- Raf256
