Also, what shell do you use in the DOS box where you invoke Emacs? Is it COMMAND.COM, CMD.EXE, or something else? Finally, the log indicates that you used the menu bar at least once. Can you cause Emacs to be aborted like that without ever touching the mouse or using the menu bar? Last, but not least, thanks for digging into this problem.
