I am a PhD Psychology student running psychoacoustic experiments, which have been programmed using C and DJGPP (version 2.01) + Norton Commander. The experiments involve presenting sounds of particular form and asking subjects to respond by pressing response keys or keyboard keys. The code was provided by my supervisor, who has simply become too busy to help me with programing. At the moment, I am learning C and "playing around" with the code in order to understand how it works - you can assume almost total ignorance on my part. The major problem I'm having at the moment is that I do not seem to be able to compile (or-recompile) any of my programs. I used to be able to do it by simply entering RHIDE via the gpr file, and running e.g. BUILD ALL. If I try to do the same now, I get: c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(31)Error: #error Allegro can only be used with djgpp oscil.c(77) In file included from oscil.c: 77: c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(136)Warning: "END_OF_FUNCTION" redefined oscil.c(54)Warning: this is the location of the previous definition c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(137)Warning: "LOCK_VARIABLE" redefined oscil.c(55)Warning: this is the location of the previous definition c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(138)Warning: "LOCK_FUNCTION" redefined oscil.c(56)Warning: this is the location of the previous variable There were some errors This despite the fact that I am in RHIDE. I have tried various things - none of them worked. Part of the problem might lie in my attempts earlier this year to use Borland C to compile some simple programs I'd written myself (probably messing up my djgpp setup in the process). I would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction - I'm getting pretty desparate, because I have to run a number of experiments in order to finish my thesis. Please find attached my config.sys, autoexec.bat and environ.lst files. The output of go32-v2 is: DPMI memory available 8443 Kb DPMI swap space available: 26133 Kb (I omit the first part of the output, i.e., instructions). Should you need any more information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance, Alex Aksentijevic --------------23965CEF72E01E5ED0E3BABB Content-Type: application/x-unknown-content-type-batfile; name="autoexec.bak.bat" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: inline; filename="autoexec.bak.bat" QEM6XFVUSUxcUzNSRUZSU0ggZGFjMA0KQEVDSE8gT0ZGDQpQUk9NUFQgJFAkRw0KDQpMSCAv TDoxLDE3ODU2IEM6XERPU1xLRVlCLkNPTSBVSyw0MzcsQzpcRE9TXEtFWUJPQVJELlNZUw0K TEggQzpcZGpncHBcYmluXGN3c2RwbWkgLXANCkM6XE1PVVNFXE1PVVNFDQoNCkxIIC9MOjEs NjM4NCBDOlxET1NcRE9TS0VZIC9JTlNFUlQNClBBVEggQzpcRE9TO0M6XFdJTkRPV1M7Qzpc TU9VU0U7QzpcVVRJTElUWVxOVTtDOlxOQztDOlxESkdQUFxCSU47QzpcRGpncHBcdG1wO2M6 XGRqZ3BwXGdudVxlbWFjc1xiaW4NClBBVEg9QzpcUEVSTC00LjAzNjslUEFUSCUNCg0Kc2V0 IERKR1BQPWM6XERKR1BQXERKR1BQLkVOVg0KU0VUIFNFVF9GSUxFUz1jOi9kamdwcC9zaGFy ZS9zZXRlZGl0ICANCg0KU0VUIFRFTVA9QzpcVEVNUA0KU0VUIENPTVNQRUM9QzpcRE9TXENP TU1BTkQuQ09NDQoNCk5DLkJBVA0K --------------23965CEF72E01E5ED0E3BABB Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; name="Config.bak" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="Config.bak" DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE RAM HIGHSCAN I=B000-B7FF 8192 BUFFERS=30,0 FILES=30 DOS=UMB LASTDRIVE=E FCBS=4,0 DOS=HIGH DEVICEHIGH /L:1,12048 =C:\DOS\SETVER.EXE SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM /P /E:1024 STACKS=9,256 COUNTRY=044,437,C:\DOS\COUNTRY.SYS --------------23965CEF72E01E5ED0E3BABB Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; name="Environ.lst" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="Environ.lst" PROMPT=$P$G PATH=C:\PERL-4.036;C:\DOS;C:\WINDOWS;C:\MOUSE;C:\UTILITY\NU;C:\NC;C:\DJGPP\BIN;C:\DJGPP\TMP;C:\DJGPP\GNU\EMACS\BIN DJGPP=c:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV SET_FILES=c:/djgpp/share/setedit TEMP=C:\TEMP COMSPEC=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM --------------23965CEF72E01E5ED0E3BABB Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="a.aksentijevic.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Aleksandar Aksentijevic Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="a.aksentijevic.vcf" begin:vcard n:Aksentijevic;Aleksandar tel;work:020 7631 6591 x-mozilla-html:FALSE org:Birkbeck College, University of London;School of Psychology version:2.1 email;internet:a DOT aksentijevic AT psychology DOT bbk DOT ac DOT uk title:Mr adr;quoted-printable:;;Malet Street=0D=0A;London;;WC1E 7HX;UK fn:Aleksandar Aksentijevic end:vcard --------------23965CEF72E01E5ED0E3BABB--
