I think I should keep it then. I use it for most of DJGPP projects. However, I don't use it for OS development (which I'm doing with DJGPP soft) because I can not debug OS code and run it from IDE anyway (especially from windows :). But RHIDE is really a good thing. You may actually set it up according to your taste and you don't have to specify compile/link parameters each time you compile your program. You just create a project, include there all files, set those options and save it. Next time you run RHIDE, you're all set and ready to work! > >RHIDE simplifies life greatly. And please read the FAQ more frequently 'coz it really helps. > Also, can you please show me the code you have in the batch files to get rid of > these problems? eg video and mouse problems. Currently I don't have those problems because I'm running DJGPP on a new computer. And on this computer I don't have winNT which is the case for mouse problems and my video card (well, actually just a chip on the motherboard :) is different in the sense that I do not experience any problems with RHIDE anymore. If you run into these problems, let us know. Or better yet, consult the FAQ first and if you find there nothing related to the problem, come up here. Good Luck -- Alexei A.
