Unfortunately, gprof.info contains no information. The real information is in gprof.i1 and gprof.i2, which are not included in bnu210b.zip. So when I typed "info gprof", I just got the man page (which doesn't mention --function-ordering), otherwise I would have noticed my mistake before posting.
