OK, for starters, it's not vsync(); I tried it and no dice. However, my game
has a pause feature, and I managed to get a peek at the mess my game was
spreading across my screen. It's my *%$&ing datafile! Each image in it is
tiled horizontally across the screen! Any clue what might cause this?
