depends on what you have and what you're doing.
run msconfig.exe from your windows\system directory
then select Environment tab and add to the contents of the PATH variable
C:\DJGPP\BIN (in case you installed DJGPP in this directory) or what's
applicable. This thing C:\DJGPP\BIN should be separated by ; from the other
content of PATH.
Then add a new variable DJGPP and set its value to C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV (again
if C:\DJGPP is the DJGPP directory).
Then click  those OK's and reboot the computer
