That's not a very good plan, I suspect. What you really should do is
load a copy of the MS-DOS *boot* code (i.e. a harddrive or floppy boot
sector) to same the fixed address the BIOS would have putit (0x70:0000
IIRC), and execute that (it's entry point is right at the front).  It
will then find IO.SYS on the hard disk and it already knows how to
execute it, so you don't have to worry further.
