Go to the dos prompt and type 'set'. You'll see a list of variables. One of them will be 'PATH'. This should hold the path to your DJGPP\bin directory. There should also be a 'DJGPP' variable, pointing to the file 'DJGPP.env'. For example, mine says --begin--- TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP winbootdir=C:\WINDOWS COMSPEC=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;D:\CODE\BC5\BIN;D:\CODE\DJGPP\BIN DJGPP=D:\CODE\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV PROMPT=[- $P -] windir=C:\WINDOWS BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4 --end-- See lines 5 and 6. If one of these is missing or incorrect, your copy of DJPPP has not been set-up properly. Also, you may not have compiled allegro at all! You should've dropped into the Allegro directory and typed 'make'. If you don't remember this, your copy of Allegro has not been compiled. READ THE DOCS CAREFULLY!! Most of these problems are caused by improper instalations. ===== Peace. [- a w A k e -] __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores.
