That's a question for your video card's Windows drivers to handle. In
principle, a graphical DOS application should be displayable on the
Windows desktop, too. But hardly any graphics card maker bothers to
implement that part of the driver properly. Many don't care about it
at all, actually. IIRC, Matrox used to be about the only company who
did their job properly, in this field.
