I now wish to upgrade my compilers and related packages, as follows: from bnu281b.zip to bnu2951b.zip; from djdev202.zip to djdev203.zip; from gcc281b.zip to gcc2952b.zip; from g770523b.zip to g772952b.zip. Of the other DJGPP packages I currently have installed, the following are less recent than the latest "*b.zip" versions on the nearest DJGPP FTP mirror site. Might the above upgrades cause trouble for them? bc103b.zip bsh1147b.zip bsn125b.zip dif271b.zip ed-02b.zip find41b.zip flx254b.zip grep22b.zip gro110b.zip gwk303b.zip gzp124b.zip lss332b.zip mak377b.zip man12b.zip pat25b.zip shl112b.zip txt122b.zip My feeling is that, since these are not part of the C or FORTRAN compilation system, they should continue to work correctly after upgrading bnu, djdev, gcc and g77. However, perhaps there are some subtle dependencies I do not know about. Any advice would be welcome. -- Daniel Barker.
