Cygnus? RSXNTDJ? Borland? MSVC? etc? If you look at the code that does the DXE load I don't believe you will see anything operating system dependent. The only potential gotcha is if the CS/DS selector bases must be the same since you are malloc'ing memory and then trying to execute it (so CS limit must allow this too).
