I would imagine something like it, but with more restrictions. http://www.opensource.org/osd.html This has the definition of the Open Source 1.7 License, under which OpenWatcom is to be released. Note that this only applies to the parts of OpenWatcom that are actually owned by Sybase. Special libraries, SDKs etc... will have to be obtained from their original source (M$, OS/2, Novell), although they are reportedly talking to some groups to see if they can continue to use some of it. This is why one must have a full, store bought version, for Watcom 11.0c and OpenWatcom 1.0. The big difference, unlike ZLib, for any product derived from it, you must also make the source code available. A bit like GPL. There are more restrictions than ZLib, such as no discrimination against... anyone. So JGAA's software (WarFTPd) would be a good example of something that wouldn't be able to be distributed under this license (he doesn't want military/governmental people using his software, for good reason). ------- AndrewJ
