Please note that there are lots of outright incorrect books on C++
floating around in book stores. The language has been in a constantly
changing state, for about 5 years, but the compiler makers and book
editors felt they couldn't wait until it settled down before writing
books like 'teach yourself C++ in 24 hours'.  They usually don't even
_mention_ what version of C++ they might be referring to, other than
by claiming compatibility to some compiler version.

Bad books like those do the general public a misservice, but that's
never stopped anyone from making his profits, has it?
