I also traced down bug in RSXNTDJ 1.5 which seems to te similar to the problem I have. Still nothing...In the meanwhile I downloaded MinGW32 and I was able to setup compile the application almost instantly. No crashes of compiler (like djgpp under Windows), runs quickly because it uses native Win32 API. Good bye to djgpp+RSXNTDJ.....
