Mounting SMB services with the MS Lanmanager for DOS works fine. But i have to use TCP/IP services for which there is no MS client for the TCP/IP stack provided with MS LANMAN. And according to , "its TCP/IP stack is compatible only with its own applications". I assume the MS Network Client for DOS having the same restrictions. On the other hand using those TCP/IP services with TCP/IP stacks like Trumpet or WATTCP (i think that is DJGPP. Is that right?) works fine, too (i do have clients for these stacks, like wget). BUT NOT WHEN LANMAN IS LOADED! OK, two TCP/IP stacks at the same time is a bad idea... So, is there a SMB client for Trumpet/WATTCP/DJGPP? Or is there a way to make LANMAN cooperate with a non-MS TCP/IP stack? Thanks for helping! Nils.
