Has anyone ever have any success with the d_bitmap_proc in Allegro's GUI
routines?  I've been trying everything to get a bmp to pop-up on the screen.
I load the bitmap like this:

BITMAP *bmp;
PALETTE pal;
bmp=load_bitmap("mypic.bmp", pal);

I know that it is being loaded cause I blit it right after.
My dialog works cause I can get buttons and lists.

I set the dialog for the bitmap to this:  x=0 y=0 w=bmp->w  h=bmp->h dp=bmp

This should work right?
