Before I start, can I just say how impressed I am with the quick and helpful responses from this site. Anyway, I'm trying to compile a simple program (still!), and after typing the usual: gcc -o hello.exe hello.cc the system responds by displaying: c:/djgpp/bin/ld.exe: cannot open crt0.o: No such file or directory (ENOENT). I have made sure that in the paths environment I have included the bin, include and lib dirs, removed any sign of Borland C++ ever being on the system, and set djgpp = c:\djgpp\djgpp.env. I have looked for crt0.o and found it in the lib directory (which I believe is used for C programs), but in the include directory, there is only crt0.h. Please can you help, Paul. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
