I moved from Basic to C because my favorite Basic compiler,
Powerbasic 3.5,compiled 16 bit code and i figured it was
about time i enjoyed the power of 32 bits,what with all
the hype and all.Well I got Djgpp cause its free and Allegro
looked promissing and it looked like there was plenty of 
peer support.It all paid off...Thanks to all of the people
involved,Its a lot of fun to see my programs run so fast.


I Dont like the way C handels strings,though,Basic spoils
the crap out of you with its strings....They were nice
and safe and fun and,well,NOTHING like C strings...C strings
seem dangerous...I probly cant count the ways to crash my box
with C strings....



I have heard good things about C++ and strings.Is it
all true?

I have been putting off learning C++ cause i am having so much
fun with C...and i dont know how cool it is to switch...

I also dont know how good Djgpp is for C++....IS it?

2.) C++,Strings are fun and safe(er)?

3.) Djgpp and C++ make good friends.
