Yes, but section 8.2 has the required information about *RHIDE* giving these errors, I really think that it would be worth your while to go ahead and read the FAQ. Yes.... i know sometimes reading docs suck but believe me the DJGPP FAQ addreses quite a lot of common problems so it is certainly worthwhile just having a look and seeing whether your problem is addresed in the FAQ. Actually most often this is due to a bug in RHIDE 1.4 thats why IMHO you should get 1.4.7 > > >But you can solve this pretty easily buy downloading the latest (1.4.7 and > >above) version of rhide, and installing it. > > Yeah it is easy ;-) So I just did that, un(WinZip) it to my DJGPP folder and > .... nothing, that shiny new Rhide still complains about not knowing lstdcx. > I've download it through Zip-picker on www.delorie.com I'm sorry that I didn't mention where to get RHIDE 1.4.7 > hence the confusion No the zip-picker doesn't recommend beta versions it still recommends that age old RHIDE 1.4. Andris Pavenis maintains a page with the latest versions of RHIDE at , thats where you can get the latest version of RHIDE. And once you install it it's bye bye to the problem :-) I thought it would be > the latest version but Rhide tells me it is only ver 1.4 (from Sep). There's > no .7 after 1.4. Well the FAQ has more on this ;-) HTH, Grendel Hi, I'm a signature virus. plz set me as your signature and help me spread :)
