Somewhat offtopic in DOS programming froups. Wrong, Borland released *all* compilers with more than 10 years, so Turbo C++ 1.x is free (not open source) and it doesn't need Windows. I think 2.x is also release and in 2 or 3 years they'll release 3.x. But they still without a final word about Turbo Vision, so the "support to open source" from Borland is really a stupid marketing move that they doesn't even know how to handle.
