To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Hi, My RHIDE v1.4.7.4 (and 1.4 also) is behaving oddly. I run in w95osr2 dos-mode. When I start it the first time, everything works perfectly. Then I quit it and try to access a diskette. If there's no disk in the drive, dos reports a general failure. if there IS a diskette, dir, for example prints garbage and doesn't even access the drive (the led doesn't light up). This happens every time. RHIDE also screws up the mouse. If I start windows (by typing win, that's how I always start it) even windows can't find the mouse. Looks like something has gone badly wrong with the hardware. The mouse works at the first time, but then... system cfg: DOS 7.10, 4DOS 5.52, logitech PS/2 mouse, logitech's driver. No funny disk tsr's, only ifshlp and smartdrv. emm386 noems novcpi. Under windows everything works fine, but the mouse feels a little sluggish. Is this a bug in RHIDE? I don't want to reboot every time I use it! -- - Antti
