RSXNTDJ has nothing to do with the NT platform specifically. It's an add on
to DJGPP so it can compile both GUI and console programs for WIndows
95/98/NT.

True, but for someone like me who's not using it for any commercial purpose,
MySQL does not complain, nor does it become non-functional when your trial
runs out.

The pre-compiled Windows binaries work nicely with RSXNTDJ after a bit of
hacking, and you only have to worry about the "shareware crap" if you have a
guilty conscience about using a fully functional commercial product for
non-commercial purposes without paying for it :-)
