The last version of Binutils officially ported to DJGPP (v2.8.1) is very 
old.  Even the current version of Binutils (2.9.1) is quite old, but the 
next version seems still far away.  V2.9.1 does support MMX.

As a work-around, you can always use a literal .byte code.
