The Computer runs under Linux... OK, I know DR-Dos is working very well ;-)) but my Mainboards are jumping not to 1980 but 1900 ;-)) which mean the "19" is hardcoded in the Bios. So if I find it, I can continue to use the mainboards. Note: The cheapest mainboard I had fond was US$ 70 and it is a 586. Now I need the cheapest CPU, which is a K6 II-350 for US$ 50. And then the Mainboard use DIMM-Modules. The smallest is a 32 MByte for US$ 60 The ensemble is US$ 180 and around 80 Times faster as I need. My 486dx40 consumes around 18 Watt but a K6II-350 around 62 Watt. This is, why I try to hod the old ones. On a 486dx66 I can run a Internet-Access-Server (Foray-PPP 2.81) under Dos with 32 Lines. A K6II-350 can handel around 128 Lines under Linux. Which overkill !!! I have on one Computer only 4 Courier-I (internal) with 56k ISDN and V.90 and on a second 4 Sportster 28800.
