I doubt if this danger is real. Emacs comes with a Tetris implementation, called Tetris, since 1997. Since the Emacs maintainer is *extremely* sensitive to legal issues, I cannot imagine that this aspect was not thoroughly investigated, before Tetris was included in the Emacs distribution. Perhaps marketing a stand-alone game and calling it Tetris could be a problem. But simply calling your game that name in a news group is not.
