Its purpose is to provide preemptive multitasking for DOS programs. It focuses on simplicity and compatibility. That is, it doesn't introduce any new API buit rather is intended to run as many different DOS programs as possible. Of course, it runs DOS programs in V86 mode, so not all the programs could be run. On the current stage the basic version works OK on DOS session level (in a manner of Windows or OS/2 DOS sessions). I'm not sure as to where to take it from here and that's where I need your help. If you think you may need a simple and efficient multitasking solution for DOS, I would like to know it. As I see it, its main use may be desktop multitasker or embedded DOS systems; certainly I would like to know about any other possible use. It may not be appropriate to have long threads in respective NGs, so if you don't feel that it may be an interesting NG discussion, please send me your comments, wishes, opinions, questions etc. to: black_phantom AT my-deja DOT com or _bphantom AT xoommail DOT com TIA/ BP -- http://bphantom.tripod.com -- -- God knows as your dog knows Bog blast all of you --- Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
