Windows 98 uses different AUTOEXEC.BAT files for >plain DOS and for Windows boot. Maybe you understand from this, but you don't seem to be very proficient with DOS, so maybe not. I'll follow-up anyway. The autoexec.bat file you're looking for is located at c:\autoexec.bat I'm not really sure how the one windows uses works. I'm guessing it runs both of them, though don't take my word for it. I always just edit the one in the root directory. Sean P
