I installed djgpp from a disk that came with Sams Teach Yourself C++ which is Rhide 1.4 version. I have since downloaded the 1.47 Beta version. My problem is after I write my code and save with the cpp extension and try to compile I get the error "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be terminated." the details say "The program encountered an invalid page exception". Fault location 0028:2F707067. What am I doing wrong. My current operating system is Windows 98 second edition if that helps. I've tried the techs at dell and they think its a software problem. Thats why I updated to the beta. But I think it's something I'm not doing right! Sincerely, Brian Batson
