Hi Wojciech (and interested others), OK, this is just a first impression, but I d/l'ed Crabtree's sources and took a look, and it seems that the approach he takes would also work for an LFN driver for plain DOS. In fact, there doesn't seem to be a lot of NT-specific stuff in the code, so maybe your work could be easily adapted for use as an LFN driver for plain DOS?
