This problem is due to the faulty CD installation programs distributed 
with some books: they don't copy the stubify.exe program from the CD to 
the DJGPP's bin subdirectory.

You need to find this program on the CD and manually copy it to the same 
place where gcc.exe lives on your hard disk.

This is not in the FAQ yet.  The problem started to appear only recently; 
the next FAQ release will have it.
