I rebuild the library this morning on another machine with the same DJGPP installation. I had the same warnings (I 've used gcc295b), but the tests were correct this time! When I looked at the test *INPUT* images (with the same viewer as on the other machine), it turned out that they are *ALL* of red roses, there is *NO* input image of a green rose! On the other machine I had a green one! Therefore, it must be a problem of the system reading certain types of files (binary vs text as djdelorie suggested?). Strange, because I've never had any problems like this before (anyway, never noticed anything strange before).
