The description of complex in libgplus.inf is one step behind the faq. The faq tell you what to do to your code to run in the more up to date c++. The libgplus.inf and lots of c++ text books need to be updated (I'm not qualified or volunteering). The faq does answer the questions that I had. Sorry for any confusion.
