I programmed a small game with DJGPP (&Allegro) On my computer its running very well, but I have a problem. I liked to give the game to some friends of mine, so I put the exe-file, the dat-file and some other files (highscore, readme,...) on a floppy. First I wanted to try, if the game works on an other PC. So I run it on my brothers Computer. It was working without any problems. In the afternoon I visted my grandparents. I took the floppy with me and wanted to start my game on my grandpa's PC, but I was very dissapointed, because I got an Error : "DPMI missing , Download file DPMI*.zip" Or something like that ( I can't remember exactly now). I have no idea what DPMI means ?????? (Im just a starting programmer, without much experience) Maybe it's because my grandpa has got a very small processor (I think its a 286). But on the other hand my game is really simple, and I think it should run there. (What are the Hardware Requirements for the games, programmed with DJGPP(& ALLEGRO) or what they depend of ?) Sorry for all the quesions and the long Letter. Can anybody help me . PLEASE . :-) P.S.> Please E-Mail me your Answer.
