I'd like to announce the DJGPP version of gnumaniak 1.5. gnumaniak is a set of man pages written for the GNU tools. The reason: GNU tools only come with info documentation, and not everybody likes info. This distribution contains gnumaniak 1.5's man pages reorganised to fit snugly into the DJGPP directory structure. All the man pages go into $DJDIR/man/man1. Naturally you will need man to read them (see v2apps/ in the DJGPP FTP archive). The pages provided are for: . binutils 2.9.1 . diffutils 2.7.2 . fileutils 4.0 . libtool 1.3.2 . sh-utils 2.0 . textutils 2.0 WARNING: These may not be the same as the versions of the packages in the DJGPP archive. I have omitted the man page for 'libltdl', because I have never heard of it and I have no idea what it is. It doesn't seem relevant to DJGPP anyhow. gnumaniak 1.5 for DJGPP can be downloaded at your local Simtelnet archive of DJGPP in the v2gnu/ directory - the archive is gman15d.zip. The following link works from the UK: ftp://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu/gman15d.zip gnumaniak was written by Ragnar Hojland Espinosa and is available from here: http://personal.redestb.es/ragnar/gnumaniak-1.5.tar.gz ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/linux-doc-project/man-pages It is distributed under the LDP General Public License, which is in the archive.
