I agree. I have been an avid user of DJGPP for years, and I use Bash/DOS for what it's good for, but I have Win98 installed. I use the GUI for what it's good for and the prompt for what it's good for. Lynx was a good idea, and I've used it a few times when it was appropriate, but Netscape beats it hands-down. I use Emacs for most of my code editing, but I prefer to use a Win32 version (or an XWindows version) because they look better.
