You may already know that, about a month or so ago, I was harping on about a TrueType font rendering library for DJGPP+Allegro I was slapping together. So whatever happened to that project, you may ask? At the time I started it, I was unemployed. Plenty of time to do it, and it was progressing quite nicely. Then I found work (and lots of it), so naturally the project stalled. However, due to demand (from a friend who needs it), I dragged myself to the computer and slapped together the first build! Yes, AllegTTF++ 0.1a has been slapped together ladies and gentlemen. All that's remaining to do is the brief manual. The distribution comes complete with the FreeType v2 library - well, at least all that's needed to build and use it with DJGPP. So expect the first release in a day or two - at worst, a week. But, no promises. I am a busy person. Thanks for your patience. - Steven Taylor.
