This doesn't happen with non-djgpp programs. The only system change to the pentium-75 AT&T machine is the addition of a 2nd fixed disk (but I'm uncertain if this coincided with the bash troubles). I removed emm386 from config.sys. There is an NE2000 Kingston board, and a NCR scsi board for the CD. I'm running bash on a similar win98 machine without troubles. Any wild guesses?
