Does this happen with DJGPP programs only, or with any program?

If it only happens with DJGPP, could you please describe the problem in 
more detail?  Does it happen for Ctrl-C?  Does it happen for Ctrl-\ if 
you enable SIGQUIT (it's ignored by default)?
