He was extremely rude and un-interested in what I told him (I explained some of the problems). > Perhaps he doesn't have time updating RSXNTDJ? Then he needs some help > with that. Then submitting it to Eli for inclusion in the FAQ. This is > surely much more productive than writing posts complaining about > RSXNTDJ. As far as I'm concerned, it's not worth it. The problems with RSXNTDJ basically render it completely useless to a first time user that doesn't know much about DJGPP in general. > In short, _do_ something instead of complaining. Excuse me? For the last 4-5 months I've been answering questions oabout RSXNTDJ. When they started I was under the impression that maybe Rainer would do something about the problems (they are minimal fixes), but he hasn't. I'm not trying to be rude to you, and I'm sure you weren't trying to offend me, but it's understandable that I'm a bit touchy about RSXNTDJs "problems". I'm just thinking, maybe I should release a new version. Make some decent help files for it, fix the libraries problem, maybe include RSXNTDJ as a switch to GCC again. Would I be looking for trouble if I just went ahead and did it without consulting Rainer? I think maybe I should ask him first, if he really is THAT busy then he wouldn't mind, now would he? Now, would there be any call for this? Or has everyone abandoned RSXNTDJ forever? I'm willing to fix this thing (if only to save my bandwidth :-)) -- Johan Venter ICQ 3643877 surf.to/djgppig
